For this craft, the kids were given a square piece of paper and a heart. They glued the heart to the square. Then they glued candy hearts to the heart. Then I wrote their names and the year on it. Easy as pie!
On Thursday, the kids made Valentine's Day cards for their parents. I added a little poem to the top of this, but I took the picture before I added the poem. For this craft, the kids glued the doily to their construction paper. Then I painted one of their hands and added the hand print to the doily. After that dried, I gave them foam stickers to add to it. Then we added glitter. And then the poem, which you can't see because I am a slacker and didn't take a picture of the "completed project". But just imagine it with a cute poem on it.
And speaking of slacking, I don't have a picture of the third craft. But I promise to add it this weekend.
